CONSTRUMA Homemaking exhibition bunch was successfully concluded

The dynamism of the Hungarian construction industry was clearly tangible at the exhibition: the representatives of the trade and the general audience filled the exhibition space covering 5 pavilions and 44 thousand square meters of gross exhibition space. Numerous conferences and professional competitions were staged during the exhibition, which was attended by 600 exhibitors from 14 countries. Growing interest – sold-out Construma

The continuous growth of the construction industry can be clearly witnessed from the increased interest of exhibitors in the CONSTRUMA assortment of exhibitions: the pavilions of the exhibition were practically full and all places were sold out. This is great news for the operators of the construction industry, since visitors will be treated to a wide range of supply and a number of novelties at the exhibition hosted from 11 to 15 April at the HUNGEXPO Budapest Fair Center.


Apart from construction industry-related themes, this year, renewable energy and building services engineering (RENEO). will again be featured in a separate pavilion. The assortment of home making exhibitions will offer visitors a full range of themes including interior design  (HOMEDesign) as well as garden design and landscaping (CONSTRUMA GARDEN) subjects.


Just as every year, HUNGEXPO Zrt. has again announced the CONSTRUMA Award competition. Exhibitors who have launched a new product on the market are eligible for the award. The submissions were evaluated by a jury panel consisting of professionals.

The event of 2018 is focused on the home of the future, both figuratively and concretely.
The products and services of the exhibitors include a range of special innovations. However, after last year’s great success, a real HOME OF THE FUTURE will be built this year in one of the pavilions featuring the HOMEDesign interior design theme. The 150 square meter-size, “spread out” apartment will present the most convenient solutions in the service of a comfortable everyday life.



The phrase isn’t merely applicable for the HOME OF THE FUTURE stand, but the entire assortment of exhibitions. The interior design theme is further expanded with the keyword of uniqueness. Apart from top quality products for the interior of apartments, visitors are also treated to events which are available nowhere else. At the Hungarian Design stand, visitors can study the latest works of young designed to get glimpse into the latest trends of furniture design. The Download Design stand will include a play area featuring the best of the unique child furniture designed by students of the Moholy-Nagy University of Art and Design, much to the delight of the little ones. Should visitors fall in love with any of the furniture on display, they can purchase them on the spot at the exhibition’s pop-up store. Therefore it’s worth planning for the event set to take place in mid-April.



Schneider Electric, the international expert in energy management and automation pays a close attention to the widespread of electric cars and supports the development of a suitable and modern recharging infrastructure. As a result of this, EVLink Parking electric car charger stations have been installed at the premises of HUNGEXPO Budapest Fair Centre, that benefit not only the owners of electric cars but others too. The chargers contribute towards an efficient recharging infrastructure, furthermore indirectly influence the air quality of Budapest and with this they also assist in achieving climate protection related objectives.


Hungary’s most significant construction industry trade exhibition, the CONSTRUMA was held between 5-9 April 2017, together with the HOMEDesign, HUNGAROTHERM, RENEO, CONSTRUMA Garden exhibitions and accompanied with plenty of professional workshops, the widest exhibiton of doors and windows, lighting, building materials and construction machinery.

In 2017 the CONSTRUMA exhibiton was organized for the 36th time and  regarding to audited data, the exhibiton welcomed the visitors in two pavilions, on 13.497 m2 with 335 exhibitors from 13 countries and it became the biggest homedesign and kitchen technology exhibiton in Hungary. The exhibiton (together with the Construma) had 56.711 visitors.

Organizing these exhibitons at the same time, help us to reach a wider range of visitors resulting a higher amount of potential costumers for the exhibitors of the CONSTRUMA. More: here
